After the recent success of Vinexpo Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong and with the announcement of its new event Rendez-Vous by Vinexpo (3 tasting days for consumers) due to open in November this year in New York, Vinexpo asserts its international growth and confirms its position as leader. It was felt that the Vinexpo logo needed to evolve in order to be more in line with recent developments and what Vinexpo has come to stand for, highlighting its DNA in terms of innovation, dynamism and international presence.

The communications and brand consultants STJOHN'S has therefore designed this new logo to meet two objectives: to make the brand more impactful with common identifying symbolism, while displaying the strong points of the exhibition.

The curves around the globe express both the vibrant markets and the acceleration of international trade, while giving a sense of the exhibition rolling forward within its professional world.

The "Futura" font and the positioning of the lettering, which is deliberately black, were chosen to evoke the elegance of a world that combines tradition and modern sophistication. To make each exhibition a unique event, a specific colour will be assigned to the year. 2013 has thus been characterised with the colour of wine lees.
