India’s power sector is one of the most diversified in the world. Sources of power generation range from conventional sources such as coal, oil, hydro and nuclear power to renewable sources such as wind, solar, etc. The electricity demand in the country has increased rapidly and is expected to rise further in the years to come. To meet the growing demand, India plans to invest in the indigenous Nuclear Power programme. In order to facilitate the growth of this niche sector, UBM India presents the 9th edition of India Nuclear Energy, an International Exhibition and Summit for the Civil Nuclear Energy Sector. This two-day exhibition will be co-located with India Nuclear Energy Summit – a conference designed to address the latest developments, challenges and issues surrounding the civil nuclear energy sector.
