14,628 sector buyers have visited Home&Tex Exhibition
Home&Tex - Home Textiles and Decoration Exhibition, held for the 6th time this year to increase the export volume of the sector, took place on September 26-29, 2018 at CNR EXPO. 14,628 sector buyers of which 2,554 were foreign have visited the exhibition.
The leading brands of home textiles and decoration industry exhibited their newest products for four days. Home&Tex, one of the most important meeting points of home textiles trade worth approximately 5 billion dollars, was realized on 35 thousand square meters area.
14,628 domestic and foreign buyers from more than 60 countries, including Russia, Germany, France, Italy, North Africa, the Turkic Republics, the Middle East, and the Gulf Countries came together with over 500 brands.
Home&Tex Exhibition organized by CNR Holding company Istanbul Trade Fairs in collaboration with the Turkish Home Textiles Industrialists and Businessmen Association has welcomed professional buying groups from around Turkey, in particular, Denizli, Uşak, İzmir, Bursa, Ankara, Mersin, Antalya, Kayseri, Gaziantep, and Balıkesir.
Visitors found the opportunity to see the designing stages
Home&Tex opened its doors with HOME STORY concept this year bringing buyers, business people, designers, and manufacturers together with products created with "easy to choose,""select trends," and "create combinations" themes that shape a unique story for every home.
Interior designers and decorators, as well as foreign trade companies, wholesalers, retailers, chain stores, and purchasing managers of hospitals and hotels, visited the exhibition. The Home Textiles collection prepared by Designer Namık Bademlioğlu met with Home&Tex visitors for the first time at the Textile Designers Association stand. Ready-to-wear clothing collection made from upholstery fabric designed by Namık Bademlioğlu, Fatma Kaya, Melahat Ayvaz, Kübra Tuman, Cihan Gödel, and Refika Osman was exhibited for the first time at the Textile Designers Association stand.
There were also several seminars and events during the exhibition. With the weaving loom and digital printing machine in the workshop area prepared by the Textile Designers Association, visitors found the opportunity to experience the designing stages of home textiles
