BVV presents a new concept in transport fairs
The Brno Exhibition Center's 2013 calendar will be extended by a new international transport fair under the name EUROTRANS as a joint acronym and logo.
The basic building blocks of this new title will be the existing Autotec and Transport & Logistics fairs. A new topic of rail transport RAIL-TEC will be added (previously part of the International Engineering Fair), which will be pulled to the forefront and given due attention at this newly arranged trade show. Moreover, the Brno Exhibition Centre is ideally convenient for the organizing of a fair with the theme of rail transport thanks to its railway siding that leads directly to the premises. The fair will also include the theme of public transport. The key conference theme of EUROTRANS fair will be "mobility" - transport of people and goods and its future alternative options. The fair will be primarily designated for professionals and will be held biennially in odd years, with the first run scheduled for September 2013.
The Autotec International Fair of Utility Vehicles, Parts and Garage Equipment will also see conceptual changes related to this new trade show. It will not take place this year and the next session will be moved to 2013 as part of the EUROTRANS fair. Mr. Jiri Kulis, CEO of BVV Trade Fairs Brno, explains: "It was necessary to make a change in the concept of Autotec and harmonize its dates with similar important European shows - IAA Hannover and Automechanika Frankfurt. Moreover, its current shaping no longer corresponded to the situation in this market segment. In cooperation with professional associations and exhibitors in the transport sector, we have found a solution in the concept of a transport fair".
The co-organizers of Autotec - the Automotive Industry Association (AutoSAP) and cooperating associations - the Car Importers Association (SDA/CIA) and the Association of Importers and Manufacturers of Automotive Parts and Garage Equipment (SISA) also agree with this project. They hav
