AIR INTAKE SYSTEM
•The front grille rises up for quick and easy access to all engine fluids, eliminating the need to tilt the cab and thus reducing downtime.
•A front pintle tow hook is readily available, hidden when not in use behind a pivoting license plate panel to improve air flow around the bumper.
•The over-size MANN+HUMMEL air filter assembly assures high air flow, longer element life, and enhanced filtration. The lightweight and corrosion-proof composite housing has a convenient air system restriction gauge to indicate when element replacement is necessary. The filter housing can be disassembled for element replacement in minutes.
•The rear cab-mounted air inlet acts as a pre-cleaner, incorporating a dual vortex and evacuator valve design, prolonging the life-span of the air cleaner element by removing 99% of contaminants 20 microns or larger. Filter service intervals of up to 40,000 km are possible even in severe dust conditions for reduced maintenance costs.
•Extended-life 430mm organic dampened disc, dry single plate, diaphragm spring clutch.
•The hydraulically actuated clutch release system with air assist greatly reduces driver fatigue.
•High 2,500 N.m torque capacity.
•FAW’s proven diaphragm clutch design offers compactness, lower weight, fewer moving parts, and minimal pedal effort.
•FAW’s unique pressure plate design compensates for lining wear, thus permitting the diaphragm spring position to remain constant throughout the life of the clutch. This allows the system to maintain constant pressure plate and release bearing load characteristics for reduced slippage and longer life, and also for the use of thicker linings.
•A broad range of FAW-Eaton eight, nine, and ten speed direct and overdrive transmissions are available to compliment the power and efficiency of the CA6DL engines, including the 8JS130T, CA10T150, RT-11509C, and RTO-11609E.
•The renowned Eaton RT-11710B (direct) and RTX-11710B (overdrive) transmissions are also available, offering high performance and additional gearing flexibility.
•The new ergonomically-designed shift knob and simplified shift patterns allow for smooth, crisp shifts and reduced lever travel.

•The lightweight 457 provides optimal axle performance with today’s high horsepower, high torque engines in increased payload applications. Available with several optional axle ratios, the 457 axle can match the needs of any operating requirement.
•At home on or off road, FAW’s rugged line of planetary drive axles distinguish themselves with high ground clearance, superior tractive transfer force to the rear wheels, and high load capacity.
•Smooth-running and low-maintenance, FAW axles are loaded with features. Triple-lip seals keep lube in and contamination out. Powerful type 30/30 brake chambers are mounted high to avoid damage when operating in off-road conditions. With precision-forged gears for higher torque capacity, quieter operation, and longer life, FAW assures you the lowest cost of operation.
•The Aowei’s lightweight 300 mm tall and 8 mm thick heavy-duty frame, with 5 mm full length inner reinforcements and heavy-duty gusseted crossmembers, is constructed from high-strength low-alloy steel and rated at 120,000 p.s.i.
•On tandem axle tractors, the Aowei’s frame rails are tapered and flanged at the rear for easier trailer hookup.
•The Aowei’s heavy-duty frame, wheelbase choices, component placement options, efficient wiring layout, and clean frame rails simplify 5th wheel and equipment mounting.
•The aerodynamic chassis fairings, including a left hand rear cab access step, can be quickly removed without tools for service access.
•The lower splash guards behind the steering axle both feature convenient step grates on top for easier and safer engine maintenance.
•Single frame-mounted right hand 400 L fuel tank（single 200 L or 300 L fuel tanks are optional）. All tanks include a fuel filler screen as standard equipment.
•Locking fuel caps are standard.
•The fuel tank module integrates the fuel tank sender, vent, pick-up tube, and return into one compact unit for reliable simplicity.
•The available MANN+HUMMEL PreLine 420 fuel pre-filter and water separator keeps downtime to a minimum by preventing corrosion damage to injection system components and extending the life of the main fuel filters. An optional thermostatically-controlled heater keeps fuel flowing even under the coldest temperatures.
•FAW’s new 206-250 kW turbocharged and intercooled CA6DL series Aowei engines combine high performance with outstanding fuel economy and legendary FAW dependability. Utilizing the latest in 4-valve head design, an optimum air-to-fuel ratio is assured for more complete combustion and improved torque characteristics. Torque ratings of up to 1,420 N.m are available. Designed to operate up to 800,000 km in normal over-the-road truck applications before overhaul, the CA6DL is quickly becoming the new high horsepower engine of choice.
•CA6DL series engines utilize Fleetguard’s “Centriguard” centrifuge filters for lower engine operating cost, increased vehicle uptime, and reduced environmental waste.
